Sculpture Lighting Consultant

A sculptor and writer, AV holds a BA in comparative literature from Princeton University and a BFA in visual arts from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts. Her sculpture practice is focused on teasing out the luminous qualities of forms and materials. Her work has been exhibited at FiveMyles, Kustera Projects, Sweet Lorraine and Sideshow Gallery in Brooklyn and Gallery Aferro in Newark, NJ. Her architectural projects include temple, which she built for the sculpture prairie at Art Farm Nebraska, and sol, which she built for the Plus/Space at FiveMyles. She writes about art for The Brooklyn Rail. She is a consultant for the lighting of sculpture in the landscape.
