Projects
Whether we work outside, inside or at the delicate threshold between the two, all our projects begin with an acute sensitivity to the desired emotional texture of the space: a soft glow of repose; a bit of shimmer to linger by; a friendly, democratic light that knits neglected spaces into the fabric of the community. In the subtle relationship between psyche and surroundings, light acts as a link between our worldly and emotional lives.
Our lighting programs are unique responses to the physical, social and symbolic character of each site – whether it is an urban waterfront park or an intimate garden room, a landmark church or a bike bridge spanning a major highway, a beloved public library or a skating rink that anchors an urban renewal project.
